| With its capacity to reach adults and youth who missed formal schooling opportunities, Azaan Literacy Program is playing key role in conflict and post-conflict situations. This program may be used as opportunities for adults and youth to identify the sources of conflict and to take steps to mediate and negotiate toward a solution. |

| Azaan Literacy Program could be the last resort of education for vulnerable populations, such as those who have lost everything in some disaster and find themselves in camps or changed their mind to stand with literate population. |

| Objectives |

- To educate people of the targeted communities enabling them to read and write in national language with comprehension.
- To enable the learners to develop their mathematical skills and
better understanding of their work as well as enabling them to
continue their regular education.
- To increase scope of knowledge of the people as a literate person
and enhance their social status.
- Mobilize community to provide space for literacy centers, teacher and to promote attendance by local people.
- Provision of research based syllabus books.
